We are excited to announce the successful completion of the orientation for our 2025 intake students in the MSc in Finance (FinTech and Financial Analytics) program! 🎓✨

The event featured an engaging briefing by Mr. Paul Pong, Managing Director of Pegasus Fund Managers Ltd. and Chairman of the Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia (IFTA). Mr. Pong shared his insights on Chartered Financial Technologies and discussed the latest developments in the fintech landscape in the industry sharing session, inspiring our new students to think critically about the future of finance.

We were honored to have Prof. Samson Tai and Prof. Dorothy Chau contribute their perspectives during the industry sharing session, enriching the discussion with their academic expertise and industry insights. The session was expertly moderated by our Programme Director, Prof. Aris Stouraitis, who facilitated a dynamic dialogue among all participants.

Adding to the excitement, we welcomed two esteemed alumni: Mr. Sagi Tokishev (2025 graduate) and Mr. Emmanuel Mensha Begyina (2024 graduate). They shared their experiences at HKBU and life in Hong Kong, providing invaluable insights into student life and the vibrant culture that awaits our new students.

We also appreciated the presence of our dedicated course instructors, Dr. Dimple R. Thadani and Associate Programme Director Dr. Archimedes Guerra, who are committed to fostering a collaborative and enriching learning environment.
