Celebrating an Outstanding Student Achievement!

We are delighted to share that Mr Shiva Raj Bhatt, a student from the MSc in Finance (FinTech and Financial Analytics) Programme at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), has achieved remarkable success on the international stage.

Representing HKBU at the Cyberport University Partnership Programme (CUPP) 2026, Mr. Bhatt and his team, BridgeChain, participated in the entrepreneurship bootcamp hosted at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Their innovative startup project gained strong recognition during the programme and was awarded the Best Pitch Award at the LSE Demo Day.

Beyond the award, the team has also attracted interest from industry leaders, with discussions underway regarding a potential proof-of-concept collaboration. They are now preparing to pursue further innovation and growth opportunities through the TSSU+ funding scheme.

This accomplishment reflects the entrepreneurial spirit, innovation mindset, and determination of our students. It also highlights the value of interdisciplinary collaboration, bringing together talents from finance and computer science to develop impactful technology-driven solutions.
